It is refreshing! Please remember not to limit comments to AMERICA. This is bringing FREEDOM to the World! It will truly be EARTHSHAKING! Breaking the Chains that bind us! “United We Stand.”
Just ask yourself, what problem has Twitter solved? I've always loathed Twitter because it creates a phony simulacrum of social engagement, promotes the oversimplification of complex issues, funnels people into echo chambers, encourages performative virtue-signaling, and makes it harder for people to have productive, face-to-face, good-faith conversations. Musk's ownership won't fix any of those problems because they're all embedded in Twitter's structure. Humans have evolved to talk and write to one another, but Twitter and other social media platforms represent another form of communication entirely -- one that's harming democracy and making us all feel more alone.
You mean the old Fox News, before the Murdoch kids messed it up. Other than Tucker, Jesse, Maria, Dan, Mark, Greg, the morning cast, and some of the others to draw in the ratings, the rest of the channel seems to be toeing the Murdoch brothers line. It's a real shame but fortunately we're growing plenty of alternatives.
