I've started and stopped half a dozen columns over the past few days.
I can’t imagine you need anything to help you decide your vote. Deep down, I suspect America has maybe 14 undecided voters left, and I doubt they’re all that fun at parties.
The worst part of our political divide isn’t politicians shouting at each other—that’s actually pretty entertaining—it’s how many people have come to see their neighbors as bad people. In all my real-life political conversations, I’ve discovered something: People aren't bad. They're just wrong. Sometimes that wrong person was me, though thankfully quite rarely.
Very soon, half of America will be relieved. The other half will be distressed. But here's what matters: We're still America.
Despite all the "we're doomed!" hysteria, I'm not buying it. Even if that horrible candidate wins – you know the one – our country will survive. We'll still pursue life, liberty, and happiness. Our system is far stronger than any single election or politician.
I’m ready to win or lose with gratitude … for being born in the most remarkable country on earth.

PS: I’ll be watching Fox most of the night, but I’ll also be streaming 2Way on Youtube. Hosted by reporter Mark Halperin, I’ve found it to be some of the fairest and smartest political analysis around.

Sorry, but I think you're being way too magnanimous. This election is NOT some high school football game where, regardless of who wins, "we're still Americans". The radical left in this country is blatantly anti-American and are actively--perhaps you've noticed--undermining our history, our culture, and our heritage. If they win--with the help of all those warm, fuzzy neighbors of yours who are not "bad, just wrong"--there will be no "America". They will pull down all the statues, take down the flag, rewrite our history, open the borders, and flood the country with third world values. When that happens, and America the last bastion of freedom is no more, all those warm, fuzzy neighbors who by their ignorance made it happen and that you magnanimously call "not bad, just wrong", will have earned a sobriquet far more damning and accurate; evil!
