Friends —
Welcome to our new “home” at Substack!
Most of you have been with me on this journey for several years, so this felt like a great time to glance back and, more importantly, look forward.
In that time, we witnessed the continuing reshaping of America’s media, watching the press move from biased to outright partisan, and the weaponization of censorship to silence political opponents.
Our guiding principles throughout have been to expose partisan media pretending to be fair, defend its victims and, perhaps most importantly, help rebuild the media ecosphere into something where all sides have a voice.
On that last point, we’re having success with the rise of free-speech social media sites (Rumble, Truth Social, Gab, and others). And some great podcasts. And right here at Substack, which has turned out to be a resilient home for free speech.
Moving forward …
We’ll still send the same insight into media manipulations, and share people we can support to build a better media. The new format made us lose some of the fancy graphics from the old newsletter, designed by my son Michael, but it comes with advantages.
Comments: The new site makes it super easy to comments and talk with one another. I’ll be there and I hope you join, too!
Sharing: Our posts are much easier to share with friends and on social media.
Podcast: I’m getting some great guests and will be sending overviews of my audio/video podcast, "Big Pod."
Subscriptions: We’ll have a paid subscriber option, but the vast majority of posts will remain free. Really, it’s about supporting me and helping carry on this quest.
I always find it difficult to ask for money, and have only done so twice over the years, but this has been a labor of love that has cost me thousands of dollars. I’m not complaining by a long-shot, though, because I think we’re all helping make America a little bit better.
We have a lot of road to travel and more dragons to slay.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support and encouragement throughout the years.

PS: Thoughts on moving forward? Jump in and comment on this now! I’ll be reading them all and look forward to chatting.
I've followed you for years and appreciate all the many hours (and money) you've put in to help open the eyes of Americans. I like the fact that you let us write you and you actually answered! Keep up the good work and keep giving us the truth!
I think the new format looks great...Congrats!
You were one of the first voices that came out after the 2020 election that made me feel less alone.
Your reporting is always interesting and information and I definitely appreciate the levity you throw in to make our current situation a little less bitter to swallow. Thank you.
