1. A glimpse into the Biden family business
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley's testimony makes it (nearly) impossible to ignore President Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s business dealings. And yet, most of the media is doing just that.
Shapley provided documents and messages from the Bidens and those close to them. One message from Hunter Biden regarding a Chinese business associate reads,
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight.”
The NY Post reports that while they can’t confirm Joe Biden was sitting with his son, photos on Hunter Biden’s laptop show him at his dad’s house the weekend the messages were sent.
Within days of the call, the Chinese firm sent $100,000 to Hunter Biden’s firm, and $5 million soon after to another Hunter entity, Hudson West III, which he had set up with Chinese associates. Hunter later transferred $1.4 million to the consulting firm of his uncle, James Biden, over the next year.
“We’ve gone from a president falsely accused of being entangled with a hostile foreign power to a president whose family has been financially entangled with a hostile foreign power,” explains NR editor Rich Lowery.
2. The UN warns about hate speech
Instead of concerning themselves with child hunger or fighting malaria or arranging clean drinking water, the United Nations is worried about people insulting each other on the internet.
Yeah, that’s a gun inside a megaphone to let you know how serious commenting is. Or, more accurately, to spread some ridiculous propaganda.
3. New Project Veritas head announced
Hannah Giles will be the new CEO of Project Veritas. She appeared in the original Project ACORN videos with James O’Keefe, posing as a prostitute to expose ACORN’s willingness to “facilitate underage brothels, child sex-trafficking, and tax evasion.”
After O’Keefe was removed by the Project Veritas board, he started his own company. I’m not sure if this announcement will help or hinder either company.
4. Fox News announces their Tucker Carlson replacement is … no one
Fox News unveiled their new primetime lineup. Technically, Jesse Watters is in Tucker’s old time slot, because all the primetime shows moved up an hour. But Fox didn’t make a splashy new hire to replace Tucker. It’s worth noting that after the initial ratings blip when Tucker was fired, Fox is also back to being Number One in primetime.
Why havent the Chinese made comments on Hunters threat text?
Odd
See they fleece the world & get away with it
Listen to Gordon Chang sometime about the military age Chinese subversives pouring in across our open southern border, waiting to do their part in damaging our infrastructure once the war begins with China. Nobody is really paying attention. This could be one reason the border remains open and the Biden administration denies it blatantly. Chang is a very credible expert.
