A Clustertucker —
Over the last couple days, behind-the-scenes videos and texts from Tucker Carlson were leaked to liberal outlets Media Matters and the The New York Times, who gleefully report that they show Tucker was a racist, a sexual harasser, and an all-around terrible guy. Nothing shocking there, we knew they didn’t like him.
But these videos do not show what those guys think they show.
Here’s one of the videos, direct from Media Matters.
If you scroll through the comments below, you’ll notice that most people say something to the effect of “Now I just like him more!” To me, he comes across as funny and very relatable. The kicker? He’s really nice to the studio crew who are often overlooked by big shot hosts on TV.
Perhaps the Media Matters folks were most upset by this video, where he tells them to “go f*** yourself!”
Meanwhile, The New York Times reported on a “racist” text Tucker sent. I’m sharing it in its entirety, since many places like to crop people’s quotes to be misconstrued.
“A couple of weeks ago, I was watching video of people fighting on the street in Washington. A group of Trump guys surrounded an Antifa kid and started pounding the living shit out of him. It was three against one, at least. Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable obviously. It’s not how white men fight. Yet suddenly I found myself rooting for the mob against the man, hoping they’d hit him harder, kill him. I really wanted them to hurt the kid. I could taste it. Then somewhere deep in my brain, an alarm went off: this isn’t good for me. I’m becoming something I don’t want to be. The Antifa creep is a human being. Much as I despise what he says and does, much as I’m sure I’d hate him personally if I knew him, I shouldn’t gloat over his suffering. I should be bothered by it. I should remember that somewhere somebody probably loves this kid, and would be crushed if he was killed. If I don’t care about those things, if I reduce people to their politics, how am I better than he is?”
Again, quote makes Tucker even more relatable. I think we can all admit to wanting those we don’t like to hurt terribly … before trying to rise above our base instincts. He’s just acknowledging this like a mature adult.
As for who leaked these videos … Megyn Kelly thinks it was Fox PR exec Irena Briganti and said, “Nobody likes Irena.”
Full disclosure: I don’t like her, either. And I wouldn’t be shocked if, as the urban legend warns, the call is coming from inside the house.
Fox News released a statement about Megyn’s claim that they released the tapes: "This is completely false and an outright lie." If that’s proven wrong, Fox will have some explaining to do for using their enemies to attack a former host.
Wherever they came from, these leaks aren’t having the effect on Tucker’s reputation they expected.

In my book Tucker is a very decent guy. Fox leadership, i.e. the Murdochs, on the other hand seem to be a bunch of mean, vindictive dudes who act like children who lost their marbles. They brought this on themselves.. Now it’s time for them to reap what they sow and watch their ratings tumble ever lower. Meanwhile Tucker will be better off without them as have so many others who departed that creepy network.
He always was good
Stood his ground, made U think
Good job to leak Videos
Love to see em on NewsMax
