In case you missed it …
Disney’s CEO is out after two years … and several woke debacles.

Canada is telling world leaders to clamp down on online “misinformation”.
Dear Friends —
It’s been a little over three weeks since Elon took over Twitter, and at least we can say it hasn’t been boring.
Who’s back
Since Elon gained control of Twitter, he’s allowed several banned accounts back online. The most notable include Kanye West (Ye), who celebrated his return by tweeting “Shalom” six weeks after he was banned for anti-Semitism. Project Veritas, which was suspended and then banned for posting undercover videos of CNN and Facebook employees is also back. The Babylon Bee, banned for joking about transgender HHS official Rachel Levine, is back. Jordan Peterson and Kathy Griffin are also back.
Of course, the biggest question mark was whether Musk would let Donald Trump back on Twitter. He did. Trump has not yet tweeted, continuing to post on Truth Social. But his last Truth Social post got several thousand shares, while his last tweet before he was banned had more than one million reactions. His fingers have to be itching to get back on there.
Who’s not
Another big question was whether Elon was going to allow Alex Jones back. He not only said “no", he shared a very personal tweet.
The liberal freakout
Liberals have, of course, been freaking out about Twitter’s new direction. Plenty have threatened to leave, and Thursday night on the platform felt a little like the last day of summer camp with everyone exchanging information and promising to stay in touch. They were pretty much all still there the next day.
CBS News and its affiliates stopped tweeting for the weekend over “security concerns” but were back two days later.
Let’s be clear – the left is not freaking out because they’re being exposed to things they don’t want to see. They can mute and block that material. What they can’t do is mute and block you from seeing it … and they don’t like that one bit.
What’s next
Elon’s certainly spending a little time playing with his new toy. He had an actual poll to determine whether to allow Trump back on the platform or not. He’s banning Alex Jones for a completely different reason than his original ban, and it’s a personal decision rather than part of an overall policy on what’s allowed.
This is all new for him, and he’s having a little fun with it. But in order to get conservatives on board, he’ll need to establish the rules of the platform and enforce them fairly and justly for everyone.
Plenty of people are questioning Elon’s methods and mocking his business sense. But the man who launches rockets into space and made Teslas a status symbol among climate-conscious elites has a good chance of turning Twitter into an interesting marketplace of ideas. I’m rooting him on to make it happen.

Twitter: Where are we now?
The left is the left. They cannot stand anyone's voice other than their own being heard.
You hit the nail on the head. The left has lost their control over what “We the People” can see, truth or not, it’s ALL about control! As the cracks in the dam expands, TRUTH will flow like a river to wash away the evil. “In GOD We Trust.”
