This is just more of the ugliness that always emanates from the postmodern Left.

Another prime example … architectural brutalism, sometimes also referred to as totalitarian architecture. This post WWII, postmodern architectural design was originally designed to quickly and efficiently rebuild much of post-war London and much of Europe after WWII. This tacky and sloppy design was quickly embraced by the postmodern movement.

The stark, cold, boxy, concrete buildings and structures were erected for the sake of convenience and reconstruction, despite the assault on the eyes, and on the other human senses. Typical brutalist designs looked very much like the Nazi machine-gun pillboxes and partially buried bunkers used by the Wehrmacht to stymie the Allied Invasion Forces on the coast of France during D-Day.

See: https://www.city-journal.org/article/a-plague-on-cities-and-the-poor

But nowadays, brutalist architecture has become the feature, i.e, the main event, rather than being just the bug. Rarely seen in new architectural designs are the nostalgic art deco and neoclassical designs that have been inspirational and breathtaking to our normative human senses and sensibilities.

A new form of postmodern brutalism has seemingly moved into the fashion and modeling industry, likewise assaulting our senses and sensibilities in which obese and extreme XX sized models have replaced the healthy, fit and attractive models whom young red-blooded American men have always traditionally flocked to. Brutalist obesity is now littering the covers of the likes of the SI annual swimsuit editions, pop culture, and other high fashion magazines and media.

The conservative radio host, author, and mensch Dennis Prager is quite spot on with his repeated saying that the Left ruins everything that it touches.

What was once bad is now good. What was once good is now bad. What was beautiful is now ugly. What was ugly is now beautiful. Up is down … right is wrong. Welcome to the Left’s postmodernism.

We all now seem to be living in the world of the Rolling Stones’ Sympathy For The Devil …

Just as every cop is a criminal 🎶

And all the sinners saints 🎶

As heads is tails, just call me Lucifer 🎶

'Cause I'm in need of some restraint 🎶

Election Day is November 5 … hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Godspeed.

I’ve got two nieces that are obese and my mother who is in her 80s is very frank with them, but they just won’t hear her and get on their soapbox about the fact that they’re just big girls and it needs to be accepted. Both of them are on antidepressants and other medication. It’s incredibly sad. I am with you 100%. No one‘s asking for Twiggy. That maybe equally life threatening. Balance people, balance!

my wife has a lot of medical issues, some caused in part by weight and most made worse by it, particularly back and heart issues.
