When you're targeting children, and pushing to medically experiment on them, you are not the good guy. But resistant gays will be treated just like women who don't want men in their lockers - as bigots who should be cast from society. The T crowd is anti-female and anti-gay, and I'm not sure how characterize the broader left's anti-child approach beyond noting that authoritarians always come for the kids.

Ken, I am with you. I could care in the least but, there’s the rub. It doesn’t seem enough to allow people to live the life of their choosing. The activists want to continue to shove it in your face until you accept and approve their way of life. In my case, they’ll wait forever.
Thanks, Ted, I wouldn't have pegged you as a viewer of that show. It just kind of faded away. I enjoyed the guys, but am a little less into the bombast of politics.
I agree with you, I am over ALL of it. I never had a problem with "l g b" part, I have friends too. They came out but pretty much stayed to themselves. I truly despise the "t" part on. They are an extreme minority in this country who thinks they are a majority. They need to be reigned in and forgotten about. They are vile and grotesque only they never got the memo. American voices against the "t" part on should band together with the "l g b" part and put them back in the closet where they belong.
Gay man here and I am with you, 100%. . I was at one of the first Pride events back in the mid-1970s (yes, I am THAT old). And things are different now. It appears that the message of Pride is no longer about being “equal”, it is about being “in your face”. I don’t need everyone (or anyone) to affirm the choices that I have made in my life. I made them and I own them. But it appears that some activists are not satisfied with being accepted. They want to be glorified. By everyone. Regardless of peoples’ individual beliefs or points of view. And if I expect you to “respect” my beliefs and points of view, then I need to respect yours too. And that “two way street” seems to have gotten lost somewhere in time. Not sure why. But we need to get back to the point of respecting (you don’t have to “like” them) other peoples points of view.
When writing this piece, I gave a lot more thought than usual on how it my be received by people I care about who have a divergent set of views on the topic. Your point on acceptance vs glorification and mutual respect are spot on.

I appreciate this response, John.
