Totally agree. This manufactured “rage” is just a distraction on the stuff that really matters. The National debt, are children getting the education they need to live happy and productive lives, are some children being “altered” in irreversible ways, are we taking care of our veterans and first responders, and the list goes on. Where is the “rage” that we have veterans living in make shift tents on city streets? Do we care that Jimmy and Sally can’t read or do math? WTF? And our Political Class and the Fourth Estate just keep the outrage coming.
Ken, you’re absolutely right. The activists on the left make a big deal about a gay make-up artist. Truth be told, I don’t care if they’re gay or not because I don’t intend to watch that production or any other put out by Disney.
The phrase “don’t sweat the small stuff” comes to mind reading this. If we concentrate on minutiae we miss the big picture: the 100 year plans of the CCP; the bogus manipulated “science” behind the “climate change” hype that so many people now believe and are willing to sacrifice our standard of living “to save the planet;” the huge lobby in DC that is responsible for the “trans” push that is ruining so many lives; the illegals and terrorists pouring over our southern border some of whom are Chinese subversives ready to take on their part in a war on our soil once the war in Asia begins; the deluded and disgusting plans of the WHO and the WEF, the Davos players wanting to replace capitalism, control world-wide “pandemic” responses including mandatory “vaccinations”, and institute digital currency, but first they have to disarm the American population. Scratch a “conspiracy theory” and find a truth. It isn’t just a U.S. problem. The world has gone mad.
Another symptom of political polarization creeping into how we talk about pop culture. Dylan Mulvaney/Bud Light, Target/pride merchandise, and Chik-fil-A/DEI program are other recent examples of pseudo-scandals being ginned up to draw clicks and stoke anger. Partisan media is usually the instigator.
Vote with your clicks. The next time you see a headline along the lines of "X sparks outrage..." scroll past it and click on an article that addresses a legitimate issue: climate change, national debt, local news, role of technology in our lives, etc.

This is what we get when the liberal propaganda media makes a mountain out of a mole hill.
In the interest of fairness, the conservative media plays the same game.
