I’m truly concerned about this. The Republican Party did “ok” in this election. The Red Wave never happened, not to the extent we all thought. I believe the reversal of Roe V Wade was the end all, if we are looking for reasons/excuses. Why would DeSantis want to put his beautiful YOUNG family through the hell that the Trumps went through? It’s going to be vicious no matter who runs. That’s been even more obvious during this last election with the mailers. Trumps name calling earned him a reputation, not always a good one. That’s what I hear from republican friends that YES, voted Biden. The last person he should be name calling is Ron DeSantis. Trump needs the VERY IMPORTANT state of Florida and calling DeSantis names won’t get him what he needs, the support of Floridians and their electoral votes.

DT is often his own worst enemy and this is an example - a pointless, gratuitous shot at a governor who's doing things the right way, from Covid to hurricane responses to social stuff. These unforced errors go a long ways in creating Trump fatigue.

My wife and I have been Trump supporters since the RNC in 2016. Up to that point we were supporters of Marco Rubio. But seeing Trump and how he's acting now when the Republican party should be united, has caused us to change our support to Ron DeSantis, the best governor in the U.S. by FAR!! I don't know WHY Trump is attacking DeSantis. Maybe it's jealously or perhaps he feels threatened, but whatever the case is, it's time for Republicans to move on now. Weeks ago in early October, I told my wife that I felt like Trump's time was over and that the Republican party belonged to DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott and others like them, but not President Trump.

This fight is a distraction. The lackluster mid-term performance rests solely with the 3 Mc’s (McCarthy/McConnell/Mcdaniels). All 3 need to be stripped of power.

I like DeSantis. But Trump is the guy that will bring down the establishment. No matter how much they try to bring him down - voters that want real change will lift him up.

All you need do is ask yourself - why would I consider ANY one that is supported by the Mc’s? Or Paul Ryan? Or the Lincoln Project? Or Liz Cheney? To me - this distraction is nothing more than trying to cover up the election skullduggery of the establishment GOP.

We owe it to ourselves to see through this charade and call them out. Ronna Romney? Remove her. McCarthy/McConnell? Not re-elected as leaders (write to Rep. Andy Biggs and support his efforts to deny McCarthy the speaker position). That happens and then we can talk the STUPENDOUS ticket of Trump/DeSantis.

Trump doesn’t appreciate people who are ungrateful for the things he has done for them. Ron believes he has the world by the tail now and doesn’t apparently need trumps support. Someone needed to remind him he wouldn’t even be governor had Trump not stepped into the limelight and supported him for years ago. He was just a mirror representative that was lackluster at best.
