Things like a basic hospital. Or a roads and transportation to take your kid to a hospital without a two-day trip. Or a mom who can read. Or clean water. Or a political/economic system that allow simple medicines to be bought.
The doctor/author of Factfulness described how in many parts of Africa today, they see child mortality rates that they did in the Nordic countries did in the 1950s. Some areas are still behind, but they're catching up.
