I didn't watch the debate and I'm not impressed with the candidates. Might as well have Bush back in office. Or, just spit on the stage and vote for whomever it lands on. I believe Vivek Ramaswamy is a phony and my gut tells me not trust him. I will vote for Trump. He can go toe-to-toe with anyone and come out on top. The rest are hot house flowers.

Interesting debates and Trump interview with Tucker. Gives me hope that the Republican nominee will “ save” our country whoever it is if we can get them past the corrupt Dems that will do ANYTHING to stop them.

I liked Burgum although Not ready for Prime Time. I believe Vivek knows nothing about foreign policy as Nikki Hailey pointed out. Mike Pence is the one that is Sanctimonious. I live in Florida and Ron DeSantis has done a good job except our insurance rates are out of control/ come back home and get this job done. Asa as former head of DEA should hang his head in shame that he did nothing to stop Purdue Pharma. STOPPNow the opiate epidemic

Watched the debate. Pence and Ramaswamy need to show more self-restraint. Their inability to do so did not serve either one well. All made good points at one time or another. Christie should drop out. Not sure why he feels he is presidential material. I thought Haley and DeSantis came out the best. I switched over to watch the first part of the Trump/Tucker interview. Don't agree with Trump's notion that he's too far ahead in the polls to need to participate in the debate. He needs to win over more than his dedicated supporters if he expects to move back into the White House. His traveling show didn't work the last time around, but he seems to be relying on that same approach again. Maybe he figures since Biden stayed in the basement and won, he would be better off staying away from major media. I've lost friends and relatives over my past support of Trump. I'd like to see a campaign that justifies that support.

Good point about Trump;s lack of government experience.

I watched the first 10 minutes of Trump interview then turned on debate. Afterwards, I finished watching the interview. Why is Trump so negative and "name calling" to everyone? I get tired of it. He's not nice and he's always talking about himself. Trump is so hated by the left and others that I don't think he can ever win. We can't go down that path again. We need someone young who can connect with the younger generations whether it's Vivek or DeSantis. Both speak the TRUTH!

I watched entire Trump interview. Tucker gave Trump the freedom to talk without constant interruptions. He also did not try to provoke or ask “got ya” questions. Friendly, respectful host and Trump responded in kind, as it should be in interviews.

Watched Trump on X. Tucker seemed unprepared, asked silly questions. Jeffrey Epstein? Are we headed towards political violence? Lazy or worse. I think perhaps he wanted to hurt Trump by dwelling on old wounds, but I did enjoy DJT labeling the indictments as "bullshit." Perfect environment for the barnyard epithet. After the interview I rushed into the TV room to watch ... the conclusion of the Braves' game!

It should be a crime and offense that Larry Elder was blocked when he has more name recognition the Ada Hutchison and whoever the heck “Burgum” is - I don’t even know that guy’s first name - what a joke! Almost makes it seem like the RINO establishment can’t afford an “uppity negro” that might make their WASP field look unfit. 🤨

I did not watch the debate because I am, as you put it, “solid with Trump.” That said, I follow things reasonably closely, generally. I am actually impressed with some of the other candidates. Not all of them (Christie, Hutchinson, Pence, good Lord), and none of them enough to sway me from Trump. But if he were not available I feel that we at least have some other decent choices. More so than during many previous campaigns.

I watched Tucker interview Trump. Why support Fox News? Vivek is the only non-political hack and the only person I would vote for on the Republican ticket if they manage to keep Trump off the ballot.

I'm only going to say this once - Burgum for Energy Secretary.

HOW ON EARTH did Christie not come in DEAD LAST? and I'm supposed to have faith in "the dumb masses"? I've suffered through 8 terrible racist, dividing years of BARRACK HUSSIEN OBAMA, gained immense faith for 4 years of Trump, and the dumb-masses put us right back into 4 more years of the emboldened Anti-American Obama REGIME! IT IS THE SAME "RULING CLASS OFFERINGS" both Republican and Democrat, (with the exception of maybe a couple) MOREW OF THE SAME CORRUPT DC SWAMP RATS THAT HOLDS AMERICA DOWN AND RAISES THEMSELVES. In my opinion we have had to Presidents in the last 50 years who actually did their jobs, actually did what they thought was best for America and "the people" and the ruling class, DC SWAMP vilified them both - it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out as to why, yet seems to be impossible for the masses and the Kool-aide drinkers to understand it

Pence was blatantly rude and his constant interruptions were unpresidential and highly annoying. Vivek made a positive impression - in spite of Pence and Christie. Haley acquitted herself well and understands the issues better than some of the others, while Scott also made a positive impression. DeSantis, in his usual pragmatic, Joe Friday "Just the facts mam" manner, while somewhat bland, made the most sense and was the only one really focused. He appeared above the fray and the political slop the others wallowed in, and was the only one who had a real plan based on looking ahead to our future.

It is great that the GOP has such a "deep bench" of candidates should we need them. However I would prefer solidarity around Trump to avoid giving other side ammo. Maybe this will polish him more, time will tell as media likes to turn these debates and elections into detestable sporting events. Pence who I believe is a good man SHOULD NOT be running as he blew his opportunity since Jan 6 to represent conservatives and missed a great chance to get the election votes paused for proper certification. He lies when he says his job was simply to count the votes. His job was to certify the votes and he failed us. Trumps personal attack methods may be unacceptable but his policies and ability to keep taking hits is beyond the ability of anyone we have.

I thought none of the candidates left any worse than they went in, except maybe DeSantis. Haley, Hutchinson and Pence came off as the adults in the room. Pence defended his Jan. 6 actions well. Ramaswamy seemed like a callow and radical Trump wannabe ("revolution," really?), which worries me over the long term. Christie is Christie and would probably match up well against Biden. I was disappointed that nobody grasped the opportunity to be a market-oriented realist on fighting climate change. The moderators (inevitably?) got railroaded and the rowdy live crowd was an unwelcome distraction. They should be allowed to applaud at the beginning and end and stay quiet the rest of the time.
