It would help if we would stop calling whatever was released from a laboratory a “virus.” Let’s call it a poison or toxin as is the definition in Latin. As soon as the public hears the word “virus” in starts to induce the fear everyone has been brainwashed into believing that it’s time to panic. For those doctors who have given up their medical practice because they realized what we have been told is a virus doesn’t exist, they give a better understanding of what is happening when we don’t feel well. It is so hard to have a clean diet today. With pesticides and herbicides sprayed on all plant food, with animals used as food injected with harmful vaccines and antibiotics, with EMFs disturbing biological frequencies everywhere via cell phone towers 5G or any generation of wireless capability, pollution via our water systems, chemtrails containing heavy metals everywhere, and now with the influx of millions of illegal aliens and homeless people everywhere, we are back to the earlier times of poor sanitation. Whatever they are releasing from labs does not occur naturally. When people learn that vaccines have done absolutely nothing to stop any disease and realize the many toxins released in those vaccines, they will stop crying for more. When the premise is false, the house of cards collapses.
Follow up study or not, I will never again take the CDC or any Government Institution’s directions as if they had the citizens’ best interest in mind. They broke rule #1, First, do no harm. They lost the pubic’s trust.
I’ve thought from early on that the manufactured hysteria over covid was to cover up that the US was actually funding this research and didn’t want the world to realize that when someone screwed up and it escaped the lab. That is just so dark it makes me sick. And I agree with Terry who posted above that it’s not a virus. Poison, bio weapon, lots of names that would be more appropriate.
Since this country is more and more resembling a banana republic, let’s just have a Covid-19 Truth and Reconciliation Commission targeting alphabet-soup agency heads, like from NIH, CDC, HHS, etc., along with others of their ilk, like California’s and Michigan’s governors.
Those who have been shown to be both aware and complicit with the Wuhan lab Frankenstein inspired tampering with viruses to create a strain like Covid-19, i.e., that means hacks like Anthony Fauci, as well as using the pandemic to violate the rights of U.S. citizens, are given the opportunity to come clean and tell the truth about their activities, or face the full force of federal prosecution.
South Africa had just such a commission after the fall of the apartheid state. And while South Africa is certainly not now any model worthy of emulating, especially by a first world constitutional republic like America, at the rate the U.S. is going we might as well adopt a banana republic style commission.
The Left has dragged us all into these unchartered political waters … so let’s give them a good strong bath scrubbing with their own putrid bath water. Or as Shakespeare had suggested in Hamlet … the Left should be “hoist with its own petard.”
I would have no objection to a commission, as long as it 1) doesn't assume there was a conspiracy to get to the bottom of and 2) doesn't duplicate all the voluminous investigation that's already been done by groups like Department of Energy and the Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The Department of Energy already determined with "low confidence" that it was probably from a lab leak. Until China unseals its archives (don't hold your breath) I'm not sure there's much more to find out, but a commission would be fine, if only to put all the silly "it wasn't a virus!" conspiracy theories to rest.
