I’m voting for President Trump, he’s already proved himself- before the Nimrod that’s there now. President Trump did nothing but improve American lives and values in his term and also throughout the world. Why are these people even running? Do any of them have a backbone as strong as President Trump? I don’t think so, Could any of them live through the hell he’s been through? is going through? I don’t think so!
Of course the democrats (like Newsom) and the media left are banging the Trump is Inevitable drum because they worry he's the only candidate Biden can beat. What surprises me is how many Republicans are starting to swallow this narrative. Those poll numbers sure look convincing! Hillary Clinton thought the same in 2016. And as DeSantis pointed out, nobody has voted yet. Ken says he's done with debates for a while. How many of us don't respond to pollsters anymore? Let's wait and see what happens once actual GOP voters make their voices heard. The Democrats die is cast. They are offering 4 more years of Joe Biden. (Though I do wonder if Gavin will somehow be called upon to replace Kamala on that ticket). Republican voters are the only ones who can move our great nation forward.
Jon! All great points. The only political path I see towards a non-Trump nomination needs two things to happen.
He needs to drop down in the GOP standing to the mid-40s, where he was post-midterms through March, when indictment mania started. (Assuming these polls have a semblance to reality, which they usually do.)
Second, the opposition field needs to coalesce down to one candidate after the first few states have voted.
Both possible, but right now still a long shot, in my opinion.
Despite Fox News covering 3/4 of their screen all day to promote their little political scrimmage, we did not watch. At one point, switching from Roku to DirecTV, we did catch a quick glimpse of Gov. Burgum furrowing. "Hold it a second, I want see Dana Perino," my wife said. I had commented earlier in the day on the transformation of Perino's eye make-up from her usual attractive wannabee Grace Kelly look to something more suitable for Halloween season, a ghoulish, scary Dark Dana. My wife was horrified. I wondered why blondes are suddenly running scared. Then we turned out attention to a more pleasant kind of transformation, an episode of Scott McGillivray's "Vacation House Rules" we'd recorded off HGTV, a pleasant little corner of television for those seeking refuge from the news media matrix.
Given that the Marxist Dem Party, by its actions, is on a clear mission to destroy the Constitution and America as founded, I'd say anyone supporting it is out to destroy America as either co-conspirators or useful idiots. We are at an inflection point certainly in America's history and almost certainly in Western Civilization's history. What other country in the world is standing up for the values of freedom and liberty as enshrined in our Declaration and Constitution? To see otherwise is to be living in the Matrix.
A waste of time and money. The RNC is doing nothing to help Trump and he is clearly our choice. All of the “candidates” should stand down! I will vote for only TRUMP.
You do realize that, at this point, the sole purpose of the Republican primary is to identify the "independent" candidate(s) that can Perot the most votes away from Trump?
I watched 5 minutes of the debate and decided it was a waste of time. The moderator's questions (statements) were longer than the candidate's answers and everyone talked over each other. It was designed to create chaos and make sure no-one stood out as good candidates. The news media is a BIG problem in our country!
The Democrat PARTY hates America-- not all Democrats. You're absolutely right though that The Matrix is trying to pit us all against each other: along politics, sex, race, you name it. Fundamentally it's all just Marxism: the exploitation of resentment.
I watched it and was not impressed. My hope would be Trump would fall in the polls. RFK Jr. would run as an independent and pick a republican VP like Vivek uniting the 2 parties. Both speak the truth. I know it's a long shot. Oh well.
A more disgruntled group I have never seen. Pence and Christi should just drop out. Aged politicians by years or history should just fade away. The only one who impressed me was Burgum, facing real issues and giving reasonable ideas was much more impressive than the squablers.

The debates are too late at night for politics. I don’t want to become angry before hitting the sack.
Again, I appreciate your views! I too am tired of the automatic “Hate” of those of a different opinion! The enemy wins when that happens!

I am smart enough to make my own decisions about who is worthy of my vote, without watching the kids bicker on stage.

Ken, the title of the book is “the Democratic Party hates America“. I don’t think that the author is referring to all Democrats.
Thank you. I was about to write the same thing.

Saw debates somewhat, Liked Burgham, hated Christie, Haley, Pence, Nothing resolved
More Game show, wary of debate 3 ahead
Debates are ridiculous. If they put each realistic contender on Joe Rogan for a three hour chat, I’d pay attention.
