Ugh, seeing Democrat used as an adjective is one of my pet peeves. Democrat is a proper noun, Democratic is an adjective related to the political party, and democratic (small D) is an adjective related to democracy.
One of the right's most valid criticisms of the left is that the left distorts language to influence public opinions about cultural matters like gender. Incorrectly using Democrat as an adjective violates that same principle. It's as silly as calling Mexicans Mexicos.
Be careful. When you start advocating for government raids on press outlets, you cease being a limited-government conservative and start moving toward something much darker.
Tolerating speech you don't agree with is the price of living in a free country. If you don't like what someone is saying or reporting, you can tune them out, but you can't shut them up.
Just a small correction…. Instead of “Democratic governor” it should say Democrat governor. There’s nothing democratic about Democrats

I’m so glad someone posted this. This has annoyed me for years, too.
